Police have dismantled a drug-trafficking operation they say was masterminded by a 19-year-old man from Terrace, B.C.
More than 50 RCMP officers searched 12 different places in Terrace, Kelowna and Prince Rupert on Wednesday and arrested nine people, RCMP Sgt. Tim Shields said.
"The 19-year-old … was arrested when he walked out of the classroom where he was writing an exam at North West Community College," Shields said in a news release.
Officers also seized small amounts of cocaine and marijuana, $17,000 in cash, an assortment of firearms and several vehicles.
